After we fueled and gassed the two boats, and Linda did deep breathing for ten minutes trying not to have a heart attack at the bill... $5.90/diesel, $6.45 gas + 5% to put it on a credit card!.. we began our adventure.
We went out North Man-o-War cut to see how the ocean swells were, then came back in and anchored behind Fowl Cay, and took the Whaler and went snorkeling. We found one spot that we need to come back to with tanks. The water is pretty clear.
We came back to the sound side and went to the beach. We snorkeled in the rain, but it dried out by the time we went to the beach.
Then we eased up and anchored off Fischers Bay of Guana Cay, enjoying out last night of internet service for a little while.
It looks like the weather is finally going to turn pretty, and I'm looking forward to that.
At sundown today we heard some folks blowing the traditional conch trumpet heralding the sundown. It was nice.
