And like magic, poof, the blog disappeared

Tuesday, 23 June 2015

After spending a lot of time on Tuesday's blog, which was very philosophical and long, it disappeared in an errant keystroke.

I won't re-write it.

Suffice it to say, it was full of emotional thoughts of fond memories, loss, grief, and joy of friendships.
The really brief summary of the day:
we attended a memorial for Scott Heckard, from the Annapolis Sailyard

we met some old friends there, and met several Nordic tug owners we hadn't known previously
my good friend Dick, who I hadn't seen in several years, and his daughter, Jenny, who I hadn't seen in even longer, took us to a dinner and we had a great time of catching up.

there was a rather spectacular lightning storm, with heavy rain, wind, and then calm, with us being able to watch the spectacular lightning even better.
I write this blog on an iPad, usually, with a wireless keyboard, in Notes.  Then it is selected, copied, and pasted into Blogger, a Google app.  Then photos are inserted from the Blogger app, and the blog is posted.  Somehow my finger drug and twitched and the blog went poof and was gone from notes.

Will try again tomorrow.
